This was marked when the official distributor of Mitsubishi Fuso commercial vehicles in Indonesia, PT Krama Yudha Tiga Berlian Motors (KTB), handed over an eCanter electric truck to PT Takari Kokoh Sejahtera. This handover was part of an effort to strengthen the electric vehicle ecosystem for the commercial sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The handover took place on April 20, 2026. The symbolic handover, which included a mockup of the car key, was carried out by KTB to PT DSV Contract Logistics. PT DSV is PT Takari Kokoh Sejahtera&#8217;s first customer to utilize the Mitsubishi Fuso eCanter through an operating lease (OPL) scheme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The collaboration between KTB and Takari is a strategic step in expanding business access to electric commercial vehicles. PT Takari, part of Mitsubishi HC Capital Inc., acts as a rental service provider through the OPL scheme. This financing model provides flexibility for companies to operate electric trucks without having to purchase the units directly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mr Hironaga Tanaka, General Manager of Sales at PT Krama Yudha Tiga Berlian Motors, expressed his appreciation for the trust placed in the eCanter by consumers. He stated that the handover of the units to Takari is an important step in making Mitsubishi Fuso&#8217;s electric truck technology more accessible to a wider audience through financing solutions tailored to current industry needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;The eCanter is trusted as the transportation solution of the future. The handover of the units to Takari is an important step in making our electric truck technology accessible to more industry players through a solution-oriented scheme,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mr Tadashi Sasaki, Vice President Director of PT Takari, assessed the growing interest in the eCanter among logistics businesses. He stated that the operating lease service is designed to address companies&#8217; needs for operational efficiency and more measurable financial management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Takari offers an OPL scheme with monthly or annual contract options. This flexibility allows companies to evaluate the performance of electric vehicles in daily operations before making long-term decisions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>eCanter rental services start at IDR 35 million per month. The basic package includes 24\/7 service, emergency roadside assistance, regular maintenance, vehicle registration renewal, all-risk insurance, and the provision of a replacement unit. Takari also provides additional services such as drivers, charging facilities, and emergency mobile chargers to support smooth customer operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PT DSV Contract Logistics is the first company to utilize the Mitsubishi Fuso eCanter through this program. As a global logistics service provider, DSV sees the use of electric trucks as a strategic step to improve cost efficiency, reduce dependence on fossil fuels, and deliver more reliable operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>DSV Indonesia Country Manager for Road, Ms Ajeng Nurul, explained that the use of an electric fleet aligns with the company&#8217;s global sustainability targets. DSV targets a 50 percent reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2030 and achieving net zero emissions by 2050.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through the synergy between Mitsubishi Fuso, Takari, and DSV, the adoption of electric commercial vehicles in Indonesia is expected to grow.
