He is succeeding his predecessor Mr Noegardjito. His appointment marks GAIKINDO\u2019s routine organisational election that takes place every three years through a Members\u2019 General Meeting. The latest meeting took place in Jakarta on 23  February 2016.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith the new line-up in its organisational board, GAIKINDO continues to play its role to improve Indonesia\u2019s automobile industry, in line with Government\u2019s policies,\u201d Mr Kukuh said.<\/p>\n<p>Being GAIKINDO\u2019s newly-elected secretary general, Mr Kukuh made the first appearance to public in a GAIKINDO Press Conference in Jakarta, Tuesday 29 March 2016. Before the media persons he came up with full line-up of GAIKINDO organizational board. They are Mr Yohannes Nangoi (Chairman), Mr Jongkie D Sugiarto (Chairman I), Mr Erlan Krisnaring Cahyono (Chairman II), Mr Rizwan Alamsjah (Chairman III), Mr Bambang Subijanto (Chairman IV), Mr Teddy Irawan (Chairman V), Mr Ary A Mariano (Chairman VI), and Mr Anton Kemal Taslikumonty (Treasurer).<\/p>\n<p>The press conference was also attended by Mr Eddy Sumedi (Secretary I), Mr Boedhi Samodhra (Secretary II), Mr Freddy Sutrisno (Expert Staff I), Mr Sunarno (Experts Staff II), and Mr TY Subagio (Expert Staff III).<\/p>\n<p>During the conference the new board introduced their members and underlined their commitment to bringing Indonesia\u2019s automotive industry to a new light. The next day, Wednesday 30 March 2016, they held an internal programme in GAIKINDO\u2019s Secretariat Office to officiate Mr Kukuh to start his office. The mandate handover from GAIKINDO\u2019s former secretary general Mr Noegardjito to his successor Mr Kukuh took place in warm manner and familiarity.
