JAKARTA— The Association of Indonesia Automotive Industry (GAIKINDO) is back to show its commitment to encouraging Indonesia’s automotive industry in an international automotive event, GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2016. This is the only automotive exhibition in Indonesia supported by Organisation Internationale des Constructeurs d’Automobiles (OICA), an international organization of the world’s automotive exhibition.
GIIAS 2016 comes with the theme “Green Technology for a Better Future” that will take place on 11 to 21 August 2016 in Indonesia Convention and Exhibition (ICE), BSD City, Tangerang.
GAIKINDO’s Chairman III and Chairman of the Exhibition Mr Rizwan Alamsjah said GIIAS 2016 is obliged to promote Indonesia to the world’s automotive stage by presenting a world-class auto show. GIIAS 2016 brings the automotive exhibition with international standards to demonstrate the potential of the Indonesian automotive industry.
“We invite exhibitors to showcase the latest products and technologies as well as providing support facilities and a series of interesting events that can satisfy visitors. We provide the best auto show experience for visitors,” he said.
Meanwhile, GAIKNDO’s Exhibition and Conference Compartment Chairman Mr Davy Tuilan said that 22 new models of vehicles are about to launch in the GIIAS 2016. “And 11 concepts car will also be showcased for the first time in Indonesia, and one of which is even the first appearance in the world,” he said.
