JAKARTA— Car sales in Indonesia increased in February 2026. Total sales reached 81,159 units, a 12.2 percent year-on-year (YoY) growth compared to February 2025’s 72,344 units. Toyota remained the best-selling car, selling 22,522 units throughout February 2026. Daihatsu came in second with 13,452 units. Suzuki came in third with 9,659 units.
Mitsubishi Motors (7,008 units) and Honda (5,385 units) took fourth and fifth place, respectively. BYD, which previously held the fourth-highest-selling car ranking, slipped to sixth place with 4,653 units. This figure is down from 4,879 units in January 2026. Jaecoo achieved sales of 3,005 units.
