It will occupy a total exhibition area of 380,000 square meters (the Shanghai Auto Show 2025 was 360,000 square meters). The Beijing Auto Show 2026 will even triple the size of the GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2025, at 120,000 square meters.
Carnewschina, as quoted by DETIK, stated that the Beijing Auto Show 2026 will run for 10 days, from 24 April 24 to 3 May. For the first time, the exhibition will adopt a dual-venue format, combining the China International Exhibition Center (Shunyi Hall) and the Capital International Exhibition Center. The two venues are adjacent, spanning a total of approximately 1.3 kilometers from north to south.
The exhibition schedule is divided into three phases. April 24-25 are dedicated media days. The professional visitor day is April 26-27. The public day is April 28-May 3. Visiting hours for both professionals and the public are from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The exhibition features approximately 1,451 vehicles, including 181 world premieres and 71 concept cars. Seventeen expo halls are used, 13 of which are dedicated to finished mass-produced products.
The exhibition also features a variety of global and domestic automakers. International brands include BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen, Toyota, and Ford, among others. Chinese automakers such as FAW Hongqi, Dongfeng Motor, Changan Automobile, Geely, and Great Wall Motor will also showcase their latest technologies and models. New technology-focused brands, including Huawei-backed Harmony Intelligent Mobility, Nio, Xpeng, Li Auto, Xiaomi, and Leapmotor, will also showcase developments in battery electric, long-range, and hydrogen drive systems.
