JAKARTA— Daihatsu’s sales in February 2026 increased 10 percent compared to January 2026. In February 2026, Daihatsu’s retail sales reached 12,336 units. These sales were supported by three main segments that consistently remain a mainstay, contributing more than 90 percent of Daihatsu’s sales. These three segments are the commercial vehicle segment, namely the Commercial Low, and two passenger car segments, the Low Cost Green Car (LCGC) and the Medium Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV).

The achievement in February 2026 reinforces Daihatsu’s consistency in meeting the mobility needs of the Indonesian people, both for daily use and supporting business activities. Sri Agung Handayani (Director of Marketing and Corporate Communications of PT Astra Daihatsu Motor) stated that Daihatsu is committed to providing the best value vehicle options to suit customer needs. “Daihatsu also ensures easy after-sales service to give customers greater peace of mind when buying a Daihatsu,” he said.

In the passenger car category, which accounts for 51 percent of Daihatsu sales, the LCGC and Medium SUV segments dominate, followed by other segments. In the LCGC segment, the Sigra and Ayla contributed 3,906 units, and the Terios, in the Medium SUV segment, recorded 1,351 units. This achievement demonstrates consistent public interest in affordable, efficient passenger vehicles, making them a primary choice for meeting family needs.

Meanwhile, in the commercial vehicle segment, which accounts for 49 percent of Daihatsu sales, the Gran Max PU (Pick-Up) contributed 4,010 units, and the Gran Max MB (Mini Bus) 2,033 units. Consistent positive performance in this commercial vehicle segment also demonstrates strong customer preference for the Gran Max as a Business Partner for both start-up and corporate customers in Indonesia.
By the end of 2025, Daihatsu confirmed its consistency in maintaining its second-place position in national automotive retail sales for 17 consecutive years. This achievement is inseparable from Daihatsu’s commitment to providing products tailored to customer needs, at affordable prices, economical long-term ownership costs, an extensive service network, and stable resale value, which support Daihatsu vehicles as investment assets.

In anticipation of Eid al-Fitr 2026, Daihatsu is holding the DAIFIT program. Customers who purchase a Daihatsu car between February 1 and April 30, 2026, have the opportunity to win a prize draw for an Umrah pilgrimage for nine winners. The winners will be drawn in May 2026.
