GIIAS 2015 Brings Students to Car Factory

JAKARTA— GIIAS’ Educare Program Students Visit to Assembly Plant facilitated a pack of students of a vocation school in Jakarta to visit PT Isuzu Astra Motor Indonesia’s new assembly plant at an outskirt area on 29 July 2015. They were welcomed by Mr Sonny Aziz, Department Head Assembly Plant of Isuzu Astra Motor Indonesia.

Students Visit to Assembly Plant also visited the PT Suzuki Indomobil Motor on Tuesday, 28 July 2015. The visit approximately involved 50 students of Vocational High School 2 of Tangerang.

“We are grateful for the cooperation with GIIAS on factory visits this time. It is a medium for students to learn more about the automotive world. We expect similar things can continue in the future, “said Mr Yudonendito, Assistant to Department Head of Production Assembly body in Cikarang.

Young generation has become GAIKINDO’s concern from year to year. Various programmes are launched to give motivation to students to continue to explore the science and develop their personal capabilities. This year, through GIIAS 2015 Educare programme, GAIKINDO re-emphasizes the importance of providing education and insight into the automotive industry for the next generation of Indonesia.

To provide insight and updated information on the progress and achievements and results of the national automotive industry, GAIKINDO in a series of pre-event program GIIAS Educare, organises Students Visit to Assembly Plant.

This program involves the exhibitors (sole agent, APM) to express concern for education in Indonesia, particularly in the automotive field. The plant visit is part of GIIAS Educare programmes for high school students and vocational school students in Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, Bekasi (Jabodetabek).
