GIICOMVEC 2026 Auto Show Ready to Boost Commercial Vehicle Sales

JAKARTA— The GAIKINDO Indonesia International Commercial Vehicle Expo (GIICOMVEC) is to open on 8-11 April 2026. The exhibition aims to serve as a meeting place for business people looking for commercial vehicles, including buses, pickup trucks, and trucks. The GIICOMVEC 2026 is about to take place at JIExpo Kemayoran (North Jakarta).

This time, the exhibition is utilizing a larger area and is expected to accommodate increasingly diverse consumer needs. “Thanks to the full support of the Ministry of Industry,” said Anton Kumonty, Daily Chair and Chief Organizer of the GAIKINDO Exhibition and Conference in Jakarta several weeks ago.

Several commercial vehicle manufacturers— Daihatsu, DFSK, Foton, Hino, Isuzu, JAC Motor, Mitsubishi Fuso, Suzuki, Toyota, and Wuling— are coming up at this exhibition. The exhibition is featuring a special area called the China Pavilion, showcasing a variety of innovations of Chinese vehicle brands. GIICOMVEC 2026 is expected to make it easier for trade visitors to find the right vehicle for their business needs.

“This exhibition serves as a strategic bridge connecting the national automotive industry with potential domestic and international buyers,” said Anton.

JIExpo Kemayoran was chosen as the exhibition location because it is a strategic venue for Business-to-Business (B2B) exhibitions. “With the theme ‘Indonesia’s Leading Commercial Vehicle Solution Expo,’ the exhibition is expected to become a one-stop solution for buyers, associations, and all stakeholders,” said Sri Vista Limbong, Project Director of GIICOMVEC.

GIICOMVEC 2026 is targeting more than 11,000 trade visitors, or potential customers, from 18 industry sectors. This includes logistics transportation, buses or passenger vehicles, manufacturing, services, finance, mining, and energy.

On the final day 11 April 2026, the GIICOMVEC 2026 is open to the public, no longer limited to trade visitors. This allows the public and communities to directly observe the range of commercial vehicle innovations currently in the country. “The GIICOMVEC 2026 will also feature educational programs through daily seminars discussing current issues, including freight transport safety,” he said.
