JAKARTA— February 2026 car sales showed the Suzuki Carry Pickup model achieving the highest sales (6,554 units). Sales of this commercial vehicle increased by 549 units compared to January 2026.
In second place were the Toyota Innova Reborn and Zenix (6,041 units). Innova sales in February also increased from January’s 5,401 units. In third place was the Daihatsu Gran Max Pickup, which achieved sales of 4,458 units. This figure decreased by 9.5 percent compared to January (4,925 units). In fourth and fifth place were the BYD Atto 1 (3,700 units), followed by the Toyota Rush (2,345 units).
Overall, car sales increased in February 2026. Total sales reached 81,159 units, a 12.2 percent year-on-year (YoY) increase compared to 72,344 units in February 2025. The Association of Indonesian Automotive Industries (GAIKINDO) recorded retail car sales (from dealers to consumers) of 78,219 units. This figure represents an 11.9 percent increase compared to the same period in 2025 (69,872 units).
In terms of brands, Toyota remained the best-selling brand (22,522 units) throughout February 2026. Daihatsu came in second with 13,452 units. Suzuki came in third with 9,659 units. (BLOOMBERG)
