Based on the sales data for hybrid electric vehicles (HEV) from January to November, total volume reached 57,311 units, with the market largely dominated by Toyota and Suzuki. Toyota led the segment with cumulative sales of 27,802 units, followed by Suzuki at 18,306 units, while Honda ranked next with 5,950 units despite sales starting only in May. On a monthly basis, HEV sales fluctuated, peaking in July at 6,258 units, indicating strengthening consumer interest in hybrid technology driven mainly by Japanese brands.
