Daihatsu Holds National Contest to Strengthen Customer Satisfaction

GAIKINDO— Daihatsu is strengthening its after-sales service through the 2026 Daihatsu National Skill Contest (DNSC). The contest took place at Astra Daihatsu Bogor (West Java) on Sunday, February 8, 2026. The contest was a skill contest between workshop teams across Indonesia.

This contest is part of Daihatsu’s commitment to improving service and customer satisfaction. This is particularly true for after-sales services by strengthening the quality of human resources and standardizing the capabilities of the Daihatsu workshop network with continuously evolving vehicle technology. The contest aims to improve customer peace of mind by providing a sense of security, comfort, and peace of mind.

“The consistent holding of the Daihatsu National Skill Contest also demonstrates Daihatsu’s long-term commitment to building the customer journey by providing the best mobility experience for all Indonesians,” said Sri Agung Handayani (Marketing and Corporate Communication Director of PT Astra Daihatsu Motor).

Carrying the theme “Delivering Happiness through Built-in Quality & Service Excellence,” this contest emphasizes the role of after-sales as a crucial part of Daihatsu’s delivery of reliable and high-quality service. There are three categories in the competition—service advisor, foreman, and technician.

Service advisors are staff who welcome customers, listen to their needs, and offer the best solutions. Foremen act as a bridge between service advisors and technicians, ensuring the best workmanship. Technicians, on the other hand, are responsible for providing timely, high-quality service and repairs to maintain the customer’s vehicle’s optimal performance.

The contest was attended by 10 selected finalist workshops, representing the best Daihatsu workshops in every region of Indonesia, from Sabang (Aceh) to Merauke (Papua). From these 10 finalists, three overall winners, along with the best service advisor, the best technician, and the best foreman, will be selected.

The two contest winners will also represent Daihatsu Indonesia in a global competition to hone their skills at the 3CC (3 Countries Collaboration) competition. They will compete against Daihatsu representatives from Japan and Malaysia, which will take place at the end of 2026.

Daihatsu is committed to continuously strengthening its extensive service network, which reaches more than 500 cities and regencies in Indonesia. Supported by the presence of more than 260 outlets, over 170 authorized workshops, and over 300 DMS (Daihatsu Mobile Service) vehicles, as well as fast access to Daihatsu Access at 1-500-898, Daihatsu’s commitment to ensuring easy access to mobility services for all customers in Indonesia is reflected.
