JAKARTA— This year marks the fourth year of the GAIKINDO Indonesia International Commercial Vehicle Expo (GIICOMVEC). The GIICOMVEC 2026 is expected to attract more than 11,000 trade visitors. They will meet with leading commercial vehicle brands to unlock new potential for the commercial vehicle industry in Indonesia.
As a business exhibition, GIICOMVEC 2026 will not require entry fees. Visitors from industry and business circles are welcome to register as trade visitors through the official GIICOMVEC 2026 website, using the visitor registration page. GIICOMVEC 2026 is exclusively for business people from April 8-10, 2026. The exhibition will be open to the public on the final day of the exhibition, April 11, 2026.
GIICOMVEC trade visitors come from various industries. These include companies from the transportation, logistics, bus and passenger transport services, manufacturing, financial services, retail and supermarkets, telecommunications and information technology (IT), energy and mining, chemical companies, construction and engineering, hospitality, consumer goods, government agencies, health and beauty, agriculture and livestock, and the paper and rubber industries.
The GIICOMVEC 2026 also invites and collaborates with associations closely related to the commercial vehicle industry. These include the Indonesian Car Body Association (ASKARINDO), the Indonesian Cold Chain Association (ARPI), the Indonesian Truck Entrepreneurs Association (APTRINDO), the International Supply Chain Education Alliance (ISCEA) Indonesia, the Indonesian Security and Safety Association (KAMSELINDO), and the Indonesian Express Delivery, Postal, and Logistics Service Companies Association (ASPERINDO).
Invited trade visitors will also be presented with various educational programs through Daily Seminars. These events feature experts to discuss current business issues and potential. GIICOMVEC 2026 also collaborates with KAMSELINDO to present a seminar entitled “Compliance, Safety, and Legal Risks in the Transportation of Hazardous and Toxic Goods (B3) and Their Handling Procedures.” This seminar is meant to provide a practical guide for business actors in managing risk while strengthening safety aspects in the Indonesian transportation ecosystem.
The GIICOMVEC 2026 also features a Truck & Bus Demo Area programme. This activity provides trade visitors with the opportunity to witness and test firsthand the various superior technologies in the commercial vehicles they need. Businesses can experience the performance of commercial vehicles to ensure they meet their operational needs in the field.
“Visitors can not only experience the latest technology in commercial vehicles, but also receive detailed technical explanations of the available features directly from expert brand representatives,” said Anton Kumonty, Daily Chair and Chief Organizer of the Association of Indonesian Automotive Industries (GAIKINDO) Exhibition and Conference.
At GIICOMVEC 2026, trade visitors can enjoy various special offers from sponsors. This year’s event is fully supported by the Sailun Group as the main sponsor, and Pertamina Lubricants and Lalamove as supporting sponsors. This event provides the best solutions for industry players during the exhibition. (*)
